David Goldfarb MD expertly diagnoses and treats men’s and women’s urologic issues

An experienced and highly trained physician and surgeon, David Goldfarb MD specializes in complex robotic and endoscopic procedures. He employs these minimally invasive approaches to address urologic oncologic conditions, including kidney, prostate and bladder cancer. In the clinic, he has a special focus on men’s health, including low testosterone, male infertility, vasectomies and erectile dysfunction. Dr. Goldfarb strives to create a comfortable environment where he and his patients can discuss these intimate and often sensitive issues. His compassion, knowledge and skills make him a valued member of our team of Houston urologists.

Dr. David Goldfarb received his education from esteemed institutions

Dr. Goldfarb began his higher education at Tulane University, earning a BS in Cell and Molecular Biology. He graduated summa cum laude with departmental honors. At Tulane, our Houston urologist received many awards, including the William Wallace Peery Society for Academic Excellence Award, awarded to the top 1%/ten most distinguished records in the graduating class. He completed both medical school and his urology residency at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Goldfarb received a Certificate of Honor in the basic sciences, awarded only to the top 15% of the medical school class.

Teaching is a passion for David Goldfarb MD

Helping future physicians develop their skills is important to Dr. Goldfarb. He has held teaching positions for several years. Currently, Dr. David Goldfarb holds two teaching positions. From 2015 until the present, he has served as Assistant Professor of Clinical Urology at Methodist Hospital and Weill Cornell Medical College. He also serves as Clinical Instructor of Urology at the Scott Department of Urology at Baylor College of Medicine, a position he has held since 2016. In 2020, David Goldfarb MD, received the Outstanding Voluntary Faculty of the Year Teaching Award from Baylor College of Medicine Department of Urology. This kind of dedication to urology enhances our team of Houston urologists.

Outside of work, our busy urologist enjoys racket sport and time with his family

Dr. Goldfarb likes a good game of tennis or pickleball, but he spends the majority of his time keeping up with his three sons. He’s hoping to convince at least one of them to become a urologist one day.
