Francisco Gelpi MD is a highly skilled, fellowship-trained urologist

Patients benefit from the training and care that Francisco Gelpi MD provides. He treats a wide variety of men’s and women’s urologic issues. Dr. Gelpi specializes in robotic surgery and treating problems using minimally invasive procedures. He is skilled in helping patients with issues surrounding voiding dysfunction, benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH, hormonal optimization and urologic cancer.

Dr. Francisco Gelpi received his education from prestigious universities

Dr. Gelpi completed his undergraduate and medical school training at the University of Puerto Rico. After receiving his undergraduate degree in biology, he went on to the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine.

For his internship and residency, Francisco Gelpi MD went to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he served as the chief urology resident. His fellowship training in urology took place at the esteemed Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

In addition to his medical training, Dr. Gelpi received a Master of Public Health from Harvard University School of Public Health.

When he isn’t caring for patients, Dr. Francisco Gelpi enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He stays active by playing soccer, tennis and golf. He also enjoys traveling and playing the guitar.
