Thanh John Van MD helps patients who have urologic cancers. As a radiation oncologist and valued member of our team of Houston urologists, he treats prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular and penile cancers with radiotherapy. In addition to general radiation oncology, Dr. Thanh John Van specializes in Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Permanent Radioactive implant (LDR Brachytherapy), High Dose Rate Implant (HDR Brachytherapy) and HDR Brachytherapy as an outpatient procedure (MammoSite system). Dr. Van is friendly, professional and prioritizes patient treatment.

Our board certified radiation oncologist received his Bachelor of Science from prestigious Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He attended medical school at the University of Texas in Galveston. For his radiation oncology residency training, Thanh John Van MD attended the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
